Whilst some may class Central London as the hub of the clubbing scene, there are some hidden gems in London’s not so sleepy South West.
Tooting Tram and Social is the center piece of Tooting Broadway’s nightclub scene, offering some of the best clubbing nightlife in the suburbs of South London.
Walking through the small entrance, looks can be deceptive, but once inside the spacious venue is almost cave like in size. With approximately 75 feet between the floor and the ceiling, and a mezzanine level above the large main hall, you will have all the space you need to groove.
One of the most pleasant surprises about Tooting Tram and Social is the decor and the welcoming staff. Such a venue makes you feel at home almost instantly, which is unusual for a late night bar and nightclub. Lush with elaborate chandeliers, accompanied by grand antlers on the wall and super comfy artisan leather sofas, Tooting Tram and Social offers the perfect space in which to enjoy and unwind.
The Tooting Tram and Social caters for casual drinks seven days a week and comes alive as a full blown nightclub on Fridays and Saturdays.
This is definitely a versatile venue, especially as it is one of the few in London offering a 6 lane PA sound system, table bookings (which we recommend because they are huge) and venue hire.
Top Tip: Tuesday nights at Tooting Tram and Social, play host to one of south london’s best open mic nights.
