Cargo in east London’s Shoreditch, is one of the classic club venues for London’s live bands and DJ scene. The club (which is a short walk from either Old Street or Shoreditch High Street stations), plays a range of alternative acts and music as well as offering a good range of chart topping music which caters to it’s wider audience.
The venue is full of character and built into existing railway arches. Inside you’ll find a adequately sized club and fully stacked bar, a restaurant and a large outdoor terrace area. Since opening its doors in November 2000 Cargo has been known to attract a young and trendy crowd from across London. Day or night there is much to offer, with a generously sized decked garden with comfortable seating perfect for BBQs, Cargo is perfect spot to visit when the sun’s out.
Live performances take place earlier in the evenings with the nights opening up the dance floor to a variety of eclectic music mixes from live world renown DJs.
